strategy

The Natural Change Process works at three levels simultaneously to catalyse change.

  • It engages people who hold leadership positions in a deep process of personal change.
  • It aims to develop new cultural norms.
  • At a structural level, it encourages leadership and social action for sustainability.

Central to Natural Change is the careful targeting of people in organisations, communities and sectors who have influence on the behaviour of others. Once these influencers have been identified, they are invited onto a Natural Change Leadership Programme.

The invitation to participate is usually extended by the organisation commissioning a Natural Change programme. For example, in 2010 WWF-Scotland commissioned a programme strategically aimed at leaders who could influence the development of educational curricular in Scotland.
